It began with a handshake—well, an email—from a small, stylish company called Swifts Forge. Makers of custom ball markers and putters. They offered to craft something special for the Whitewater Trails Tour.
We were honored. We named an event after them. Added their logo to scorecards. Rolled out the digital red carpet.
Then... things got weird.
“They’re in the post.”
“Travel’s been crazy.”
“Customs delays.”
Then… nothing.
No tracking. No package. No markers.
So, what do you call a tournament once the sponsor disappears into thin air?
