4 of a Kind Scramble Rules
Format: Modified scramble where each team member will play a shot, and then the team selects the best shot, and then proceeds to play the next shot from the selected best shot. This continues until the team has holed out.
Scoring: Team gross score each hole, double-par maximum.
Rules of play: All players must play within a club length of where the selected ball rests. No player may change the area of their lie from where the selected ball rests (i.e., rough to fairway, etc.)
Teeing Off: Each team member must use a different club for the first shot on the hole. For example, if Jason uses a driver to tee off hole #11, no other teammate can use a driver to tee off hole #11. Hence, 4 of a Kind!
Breakfast Ball: Each team member will be entitled to a breakfast ball on #10, but they will be required to use the same club they used on their first tee attempt.
Tee Shot Minimum: Each team member must have their first shot used on two (2) different holes during the round. Write down the names of all team members and mark on which holes their tee shots are used. Penalty will be the team’s lowest score to par on a hole will be changed to double par, and this will continue for every infraction. For example, if everyone on Ben’s team had their 2 drives used except for Ben, who only had 1 drive used, then on the one hole Ben’s team eagled that hole, it would be changed from an eagle on the par 5 to a 10.
League Points: The members of the winning team will each receive 160 points. The members of the losing team will each receive 110 points. If the winning team wins by 3 strokes, each team member will receive 10 bonus points; by 4 strokes, 25 bonus points; by 5+, 40 bonus points.
Cash Payouts: There are no payouts unless you guys want to make side bets.
Side Games ($10): There will be five (5) closest to the pin contests. They will be each worth $2, and they will be for the 2nd shot on all the par 4’s. Those are holes #10, #11, #12, #15, and #16. Your shot must be on the green to qualify, but it does not have to be the next selected shot of the team.
Playoff: A scorecard playoff will be used to determine a team winner. If that cannot determine a team winner the team with the most side game winners will win. If that cannot determine a winner, a stroke play playoff will happen between the same number of team members still available.
